With over 30 years of experience in endurance sports and coaching, Chris Clarke has had the privilege of competing in numerous triathlons around the world, including qualification for 10 Triathlon World Championships, such as the iconic Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
Chris’s journey into triathlon didn’t begin with a background in swimming, cycling, or running, but instead through his experience as a former Physical Training Instructor and his lifelong passion for health, fitness, and personal growth. He took on triathlon not only as a personal challenge, but to prove to his clients and fellow athletes that you don’t need a background in multi-sport or endless training hours to succeed. Chris is a firm believer that, with smart, time-efficient training, anyone can race well across all triathlon distances—even with a busy lifestyle.
This unique background has shaped his coaching approach, allowing him to empathise with the challenges athletes face and appreciate the dedication required to reach their full potential.
Chris’s goal is to help others achieve their endurance ambitions, whether that involves completing their first triathlon or competing at the highest level. Through personalised coaching, he aims to inspire, guide, and empower athletes to push their limits and achieve success at any stage of their journey.

"He Manawa Tītī"
is a Māori phrase that translates to "A heart like a tītī" (muttonbird).
It is a metaphor used to describe someone with great endurance, resilience, and perseverance, much like the tītī (sooty shearwater), a bird known for its incredible long-distance migrations and ability to withstand harsh conditions.
This phrase is often used to commend people who show unwavering determination and stamina, making it a perfect expression for endurance athletes like triathletes!
